Nowadays celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a bad example to young people.

It is believed by some that these days, many people have acquired their fame and popularity by showing people that they are leading a glamourous and wealthy life rather than working hard to achieve amazing feats in their chosen field. While I agree that these people set a bad example to the young, I believe that there are still others who are well-known for their talents and hard work and are a source of inspiration for the next generations.
On the one hand, many people do achieve fame without working for it. Some of them were born to a wealthy family, and others got married to a rich spouse or even worse, some even deliberately caused scandals to be famous. Ngoc Trinh, a famous Vietnamese model, is a prime example. She has gained her popularity among the young mostly due to her shocking and provocative photos and her videos showing her impulsive buying habits with the latest, often most expensive luxury items on the market. Her lifestyle can be misleading because it conveys a message to youngsters that success is easy and that beauty is more important than hard work and good characteristics.
On the other hand, there are many celebrities whose accomplishments make them excellent role models for young people. Many actors, actress, sports stars and musicians become world-famous idols because they have persevered and applied themselves to harness and sharpen their skills and abilities. They demonstrate great effort, determination, persistence, and ambition, which are required for those who want to make a name for themselves in their chosen field. For example, the international football star Cristiano Ronaldo is well-known for his self-discipline which is the key factor that leads him to his peak performance in every match. This kind of self-made celebrity can inspire the young to be diligent and persistent to achieve their dreams and be successful in life.
In conclusion, while there are people being famous for the wrong reasons and they can have a negative impact on younger generations, I believe that there are other celebrities out there who are living examples of hard work and determination and they are great role models for young people to look up to.
